"In 1965, American film producer Roger Corman acquired a copyright to the Soviet film" - I can find no evidence there was ever signed a contract between Lennauchfilm and The Filmgroup, even for distribution, less so for completely owning the film (did Soviets ever allow foreigners to own their films?). The link at the end of paragraph seems to contradict the claim, as it calls the Western versions "plagiarism". And why would Filmgroup hide the actual cast & crew of the movie? It is most likely that Filmgroup acquired nothing and paid nothing. Beaumain (talk) 10:00, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
