Title of article seems inexplicable.

[edit]

Why is this article called "Pin..." (with an ellipsis, or three dots, at the end)? Although this name, appearing in an external link, is repeated with the ellipsis, the title of the film seems otherwise to be simply referred to as "Pin", with the alternative title "Pin, a Plastic Nightmare" being mentioned also.

If the main title really does include the ellipsis, then it should be so shown wherever it appears; otherwise I would think the ellipsis should be removed from the title and from the one or two other places where it occurs. M.J.E. (talk) 14:33, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I could find no sources showing the ellipsis, and only sources showing "Pin" or "Pin, a Plastic Nightmare", so i will move this article. I suspect the article creator used the ellipsis as a compromise between the two titles, and to make it easier to link to (no piping needed). if true, its clever but not encyclopedic. Citation and Expansion

[edit]

This article is incomplete and its sections remain underdeveloped. Sections such as those on the film's production, release, and reception are way too short and need to be expanded in more detail than what they currently have with citations given for any added information. Every article has the potential to make GA, or FA status if enough attention is given to them including this one. Hopefully this article gets the attention it so desperately needs.--Paleface Jack (talk) 16:01, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
