Pericentriolar matrix
[edit]The Molecular Biology of the Cell uses the word "matrix" instead of "material". I also find this wording more suitable, should at least redirect "pericentriolar matrix" to this article. 130.230.95.168 (talk) 14:55, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the suggestion. Currently, there are >4000 hits on Google Scholar for "pericentriolar material" and only 700 for "pericentriolar matrix". "pericentriolar material" also predates the other term, and IMHO makes less assumptions about the structure of the PCM. Nonetheless, I've added the term and the redirect. I find PCM of equal interest as Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF). Seeing as it may be related to the disease Leukemia, should link to Mitosis and blood cell reproduction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jlchen1290 (talk • contribs) 01:36, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
