recent additions by 207.xxx IP user - good but need citation, or at least pics
[edit]This edit contains useful information but is as yet uncited; maybe User:Village of Pemberton can add some cites or pics to demonstrate what's been added. About the look of the place, while some of the newer dress-up is cosmetic, it's definitely true that before Highway 99 was punched through from Squamish (early 60s I think), Pemberton was definitely part of the Interior and very much a town much more like Lillooet than Squamish or other coastal places; the "look" was indeed natural and part of a broader regional culture extending to and including Lillooet and beyond; this was part of the Lillooet Country in those times and very connected to Lillooet by train as well as wagon/boat before that. I remember there being old hitching posts, for example, and the false-front architecture, even what's been added, is authentic as being part of the culture of the Interior.....not that there weren't false fronts in Squamish and throughout the Lower Mainland and elsewhere.Skookum1 (talk) 03:58, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Needs work
[edit]This article is too promotional, uncited and poorly written. TVGarfield (talk) 20:18, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
