This article should be kept instead of being merged into the main article. Other school shooters that killed less than him have articles. it really stinks, though. Kitia 18:59, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not a valid reason for spinning this off to its own page. Merge tagged. - Ageekgal 19:06, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This article is a useless copy-paste mess (with even cite errors) and Auvinen and his writings are not notable outside the Jokela school shooting connection. There is not so much information about Auvinen on the main article that it would need to be moved here, neither is there so much information about Auvinen available anywhere that we could have a proper biography on him. And when you move content or duplicate it like this you make the reader have to browse through two articles instead of one, which is a Bad Thing. There is also a copyright (GFDL) problem, since you just copy-pasted other people's work without attribution. If you want to suggest a separate article, you should do so at Talk:Jokela school shooting. Prolog 19:08, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Everything what is worth writing about him is related to the shooting. There is not enough information to write an own article (without copypasting..). And all that information is needed in the main article. You received resistance, but you still had to create this article? Seung-Hui Cho is very different, it has broad psychological examinations and silly trivia information about everything, such as the writings. Thus, that information can't be fitted to Virginia Tech massacre. --Pudeo 22:00, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, maybe him. But what about Charles Carl Roberts IV or Duane Morrison? Kitia 22:10, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
They seem useless too. Anyway, other articles shouldn't be taken into consideration unless it's Wikipedia policy. I already explained my revert in the edit summary. Keep your eye on Talk:Jokela school shooting#The gunman's article. If people think creating this article is necessary, then let's do it. Also, beware of WP:3RR, you have reverted the article three times during 24 hours. --Pudeo 00:21, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'll change it tomorrow. Anyway, I am a strict follower of Wikipedia:Ignore all rules. Beside, I don't much care because many other peple who didn't do it in school but killed less than 9 people. Oh, and Cho's article is waaaaaaay too long, because I'm sure this guy had mental problems. It just isn't reported. Cho's case was only reported because he killed 32 people. And by the way, why do most of the Columbine victims get their own articles? Kitia 00:31, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Finnish officials deal these very differently. Even the names of the victims won't be published (except principal because widely known). Don't except to get anything new to write about Pekka-Eric Auvinen. --Pudeo 00:59, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Trust me, we will. Kitia 02:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
