When he dies

[edit]

Date of death and details of death are wrong??? Didn't he die at Rocroi in 1643?. He is depicted in the Viggo Mortgenson movie, Altarista. He was carried, and fought from a litter.

I don't think so. My sources list him as dying in 1610 as well.Hchc2009 (talk) 09:42, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The following link has him die at Rocroi. http://en.allexperts.com/e/p/pe/pedro_henriquez_de_acevedo,_count_of_fuentes.htm. So does the Wikipedia article about the Rocroi battle (in English). I also have a source (Enzo Orlandi, his popular series about "great people", volume about the Sun King) saying that he died there, overseeing his troops from a litter due to invalidity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.241.95.79 (talk) 08:46, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
