I am the son of Paul T Carroll I don't know who created this page or contributed, but I appreciate your work. I would like to propose some edits of the artcle. At the very least, I would like to add a photo of my father (current photo is only of his gravestone) and a correction of the awards he received (two silver stars, not one, plus two Legion of Merits.
Under Wikipedia conflict of interest policies, it is my understanding that I am not authorized to make edits because the subject of the article was my father. I am writing to request someone to serve as an independent editor/reviewer of whatever edits I propose. I have done significant research and have access to original family documents and photos. My research has also included reading dozens of transcribed oral histories which are held by the Eisenhower Museum in Abiline, KS. Additional information is available from a biography of my father recently published. Ike's Go To Guy, Paul T Carroll. I am prepared to work in good faith with whoever volunteers to assist me and to provide objective references and sources to back up all aspects of the proposed edits.
Thank you
