Added material about Paul's retirement and the "California School". Source is direct interviews with Paul at Scripps. Sadly, Scripps used Paul's retirement to dismantle the ceramics department; while they still host the Annual, it now is chaired by guest professors because you can't do pottery at Scripps. I've done what I can for now, started a general tidy up and added a couple of decent references but this article really needs to be worked on by people with a knowledge of the subject.--Plad2 (talk) 08:53, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
