About deletion
[edit]I strongly disagree with the proposal of deleting the page. He is an authority and found the comment not only unfair, but very offensive for the author
For being included, a person must met 1 criteria out of 7 possible criteria of notability.
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(academics)
The person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level. The person has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a fellow of a major scholarly society which reserves fellow status as a highly selective honor (e.g., Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). The person's academic work has made a significant impact in the area of higher education, affecting a substantial number of academic institutions. The person has held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research, or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon. The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society. The person has had a substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity. The person has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal in their subject area.
He mets at least the following criteria:
[1] Prof Perez Sales is founder and director of a post-doctoral degree on mental health and human rights in the most important university in Spain. He has been so for more than 20 years and has (and still is) training many generations of psychologists in Spain and Latin America. [2] He has been Chair of the Section on Psychological COnsequences of Torture of the World Psychiatric Association [3] Since 2016 he is editor-in-chief of a peer-reviewed, medline indexed medical Journal.
Deleting his short bio is a big mistake.
I have added one external link, but just googling him will show more more than 3.000.000 answers including newspapers interviews, youtube and TV interviews and many more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SergioHG (talk • contribs) 23:05, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
