Cardiff?

[edit]

I've just been watching through Robot Wars again, and Panic Attack is billed from Cwmbran, not Cardiff. Unless anyone has a source for Cardiff, I'll change this in a bit. Sordyne (talk) 08:33, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Without for one second wishing to dispel your enthusiasm—it's great to have people interested in editing the Robot Wars articles on Wikipedia—I'm afraid you're not allowed to email the roboteers (or anyone, actually) as primary sources for information in Wikipedia articles. You are, however, able to look at their website archives, as well as secondary and tertiary sources such as other websites, print media, and so on. In this case, I've found a great source by searching the archives of the South Wales Argus newspaper.
You can even cite the Robot Wars TV programmes, so long as you do so sparingly - for instance, when the information provided on the show is not available elsewhere. This is to ensure that Wikipedia articles can always be double-checked for accuracy. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Feel free to drop me a message if you want any further help. Best wishes, CountdownCrispy 11:19, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Videos

[edit]

Most of the videos seem to be offline (at least when trying to view from germany). -- 92.225.2.96 (talk) 21:47, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tone

[edit]

The tone is best described as "poor". "Nail that is tough"? Seriously, did anyone enter a robot that was a nail? I have a good(ish) memory and I don't recall a nail being entered. Tough as Nails, yes. A general nail used by a hammer, no. I removed "Nail that is tough". If there are other cases of bad tone, I'm off to Specsavers... only joking.--The Master of Mayhem ROAD AHEAD CLOSED 19:32, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
