Extra colors

[edit]

As documented here, in some unknown version extra hidden colors were added to the palette. Should these be added (it's a  Yes for me)? RubenVerg (talk) 13:43, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Black color is wrong?

[edit]

Shouldn't the black color be a straight black? It's listed as #020408 but other sources are saying it's #000000. https://pico-8.fandom.com/wiki/Palette https://www.romanzolotarev.com/pico-8-color-palette/ Please fix, thanks. Airgum (talk) 16:25, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration of the version history

[edit]

I had added and maintained a version history for the program for a few months, until it was deleted last December for failing WP:VGSCOPE. In the interim however, I've continued to run into other Wikipedia pages about software products that do have an ongoing version history table, for example KDE Plasma 5, Godot (game engine), and even some pages dedicated to the subject, such as Windows 10 Version History. While this is a video game related topic, Pico-8 is not a video game, it is a developmental program for the creation of games. While some of the minor version hotfixes wouldn't need to be included, I think a table describing the different versions that were released, often years apart, is appropriate for this page, and I would like to restore the section (with some trimming down if needed). Makes sense to me. I don't believe VGScope applies. It seems to be standard practice for articles on game creation tools like Unreal Engine to devote a significant part of the article to chronicling the topic's history. ApLundell (talk) 16:48, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
