I'm not sure that an overhead cable should be merged with the utility pole that it is hung on. Among other things, we can add more material about the electrical properties of overhead cable which are not really relevant to the pole which is a structural component. CTVI
[edit]What are the "snowshoe-shaped devices" which reverse the cable signal called in the industry? I see a great many orange CTVI signs on them and on cables (no idea what the "I" stands for). kencf0618 (talk) 13:22, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
