Stramit

[edit]

"In the 1930s there were several attempts to manufacture structural insulated panels of compressed straw. This technology was patented by Theodor Dieden in Sweden in 1935. The method developed and in the late 1940s Torsten Mossesson started the production of compressed agricultural fibre under the name of Stramit. Since then this product has spread all around the world as core insulation in frame structures" [1] [2] 2001:56A:F414:D300:717B:3BF7:CCC3:B038 (talk) 22:44, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
