- ... that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is organized into centers descended from ones created in 1980, except for two founded in 1914 and in 1899?

- Not a review, but the hook as currently written doesn't seem to be very interesting. At the very least it doesn't seem to meet WP:DYKINT. Can different hooks be proposed here? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 13:57, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

- Full review needed now that a new hook has been provided. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:55, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
- New hook is better, although I doubt it will attract a ton of views. Date, size, and other DYK check items, all good. QPQ was done. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:00, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- Note: @Piotrus and John P. Sadowski (NIOSH): I don't find the hook that interesting, as it just describes the operational history of a rather technical organisation; as DYK slots are currently under high demand, I won't be promoting it. Other promoters may disagree. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 13:06, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- @AirshipJungleman29: I am happy to review a better hook. The first one was terrible, this one I find barely acceptable (interest-wise). But some topics are pretty mundane. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:23, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
- It's not the hookiest hook of all time, but they can't all be category five bangers. I've been bold and promoted. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 22:10, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
