Ukrainian: доблесний doblesny is often translated as valorous or heroic rather than brave. Why wasn't it translated as "for valorous miner's work"? Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 16:43, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

From the standpoint of flow, heroic sounds better, but if you can find a reliable source that translates is as "valorous" then I would be in favor of the change. Valor is often used to refer to bravery in battle, while heroic is used more universally. This source [1] calls the award Order For Brave Miners' Work.
