Should this article be merged into rice congee? Or should each of the variants of congee merits its own entry? — Instantnood 09:17, August 31, 2005 (UTC)

If this article stay apart, we need to move this to Kayu because "O" is only prefix that has almost no meaning. --Ypacaraí 03:48, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's not valid if "okayu" is in fact the most frequently used name. Just like "ocha", the "o" is just honorific formalities, but "ocha" is used far often than merely "cha". I'm not too familiar with Japanese; anyone knows definitively whether the common term is "kayu" or "okayu"? 24.19.184.243 06:00, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
