Notes

[edit]
  • "because of the then prevailing conditions": What conditions?
  • "Blakeney Eye had a ditched enclosure dated from the eleventh to twelfth centuries": I think I'd say "during the eleventh and". And, where are you drawing the line on numerals? Are you consistently going with "twelfth" but "13th"?
  • "during the 14th to 15th centuries, and again in the 16th to 17th centuries.": I'd go with either more detail or less, say "off and on from the 14th to the 17th century", or "from the late 14th to early 15th century, and again from ...". More often than not, "century" comes after "to" but "centuries" after "and".
  • I'll need some help from Milhist people on the use of "bases"; it might mislead some readers, depending on what they expect from the term, even if "bases" is the term used in your sources.
  • Okay, in the History section, I got down to North Norfolk Coast Site of Special Scientific Interest#Conservation. Back to you. - Dank (push to talk) 14:43, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
