I propose that this article be moved to Newport (IOW) F.C.. The team is almost exclusively referred to as Newport (IOW) as opposed to Newport (IW). See the league website here as well as the club's website here. Mahahahaneapneap (talk) 21:25, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. The correct abbreviation for Isle of Wight is IW, not IOW or IoW. Check the club's own website http://www.newport-iwfc.com/; they should know what they are called. Football fan websites are not trustworthy sources. I propose that the title of the article be corrected Chrismorey (talk) 02:02, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
