*Where* is the terminus?

[edit]

The article puts the eastern terminus first in Glenford, then Kingston... Circeus (talk) 19:24, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What else does this article need befpre it can be upgraded to featured article class? Or is it ready? 420Traveler (talk) 14:47, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@420Traveler: there are incomplete map citations in the article. Since the time that many of NY's articles were initially improved, {{cite map}} was overhauled. To be complete, the citations should list the author(s), the scale, the publication location, the publisher, the grid section(s) or inset (if applicable) and ideally an OCLC or other catalog number if they're cataloged by libraries in addition to the information that's already present. A quick search for each map at https://www.worldcat.org/ should provide the missing details. If the catalogs lack the scale, |scale=Scale not provided should be added.

I gave the article a light copy edit, so the prose looks pretty good as is. It would be nice to get a photo of some kind to put in the History section though.

Finally, before nominating, you should consult with the other editors who were active at the GA- and A-Class stages of the article's development, if still active. Imzadi 1979  00:08, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
