Table not needed for filmograpy
[edit]The WP:MOS/TABLE is clear that tables should only be used when there is a clear benefit to the reader of presenting content in rows and columns. The current filmography does not contain any range of information that benefits from such a display. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 20:58, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- I think, tables here bring a benefit for the reader. It should have at least an additional role column.-- Dravidian Hero 12:58, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- exactly what would the benefit of having the content be presented in row and column form? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:01, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's simply more pleasent for my eyes, and I can sort them if I want the newest or oldest films on the top. I think tables are far superior.-- Dravidian Hero 13:19, 5 May 2013 (UTC)
- "its more pleasant to my eyes" is not an actual benefit to the reader of having data displayed in rows and columns which is what the MOS Tables says is the reason to put in the table formatting. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 03:00, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- this is really, funny. WP:MOS/TABLE itself contains a table for filmography. A table is the norm. I tell you the benefit of having table, you can sort it. Discussion closed. Wilhelm Chandrahaasan (talk) 18:51, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
- there are 5 items, what is there to sort? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 19:52, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
