Citations needed

[edit]

There are some fairly inflammatory statements made in the fourth paragraph, which which states,

"NCO has been accused with over a thousand complaints for mistreatment to employees which include sexual harassment, unhealthy facilities, and extremely long working periods which may go from 12 to 18 hours daily. Complaints are still being reviewed by Guatemala´s BPO Syndicate. A regular agent (employee) makes GTQ 15.00 an hour, approximately USD $1.50."

Multiple cites are needed here to back up these claims. As a collection agency, NCO is not going to be a very popular organization; still, it's crucial for any such assertions to be founded on actual evidence. Spaghattanadle (talk) 13:16, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Just so editors are aware, this article has been edited by employees of NCO to remove well-sourced information that is critical of NCO and to introduce blatant advertising. Edgeweyes (talk) 13:32, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just in case they are still doing that here is more resent information:
According to the FTC's Expert Global Solutions, Inc., as NCO Group, Inc. they agreed to a $3.2 Million Penalty for charges of "using tactics such as calling consumers multiple times per day, calling even after being asked to stop, calling early in the morning or late at night, calling consumers’ workplaces despite knowing that the employers prohibited such calls, and leaving phone messages that disclosed the debtor’s name, and the existence of the debt, to third parties"(World's Largest Debt Collection Operation Settles FTC Charges, Will Pay $3.2 Million Penalty FTC)(Case 3:13-cv-02611-M Unitest States District Court for the Nothern District of Texas)--174.99.238.22 (talk) 01:58, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
