Article name 2016
[edit]NBN's on-air branding was changed drastically on 1 March 2016 with its unique "NBN" branding beginning to be phased out in favour of Nine's mainstream branding in place on its metropolitan and Darwin stations. The station itself is still named "NBN" as shown on their official website and in other official media (this can be seen in other commercial network stations such as Seven's SAS Adelaide, Nine's NTD Darwin and Ten's ATV Melbourne), the only change is the station's on-air branding. In light of this, the page should keep the name NBN Television until such a time when the "NBN" on-air branding is phased out completely (then it can be renamed "NBN (TV station)" when NBN is fully integrated into Nine's mainstream network. Any further discussion can be made below. – Nick Mitchell 98 talk 07:28, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- I agree completely. Both Nine and NBN have had fairly drastic changes in the past and they haven't automatically meant a name change. I spoke to some NBN people tonight and they said they weren't aware of a name change. I'll call the station itself tomorrow and, if they confirm it, in the absence of any verifiable sources confirming a name change, I'll move the article back. --AussieLegend (✉) 13:44, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
If the "NBN" branding is completely phased out wouldn't it become "9NBN" Awesomeman5555 (talk) 21:21, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
- On-air branding doesn't change the name of the company. --AussieLegend (✉) 03:48, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
Once the NBN brand completely disappears then this page can follow all the other Nine Network stations namings eg: "NBN (Television Station)" just like NWS and NTD etc. 220.240.66.253 (talk) 08:40, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Not while NBN Television exists as an entity. --AussieLegend (✉) 11:28, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

Locally produced content. Location Lifestyle Living was unusual in that it had no funding. It was funded by advance advertising sales. The concept, funding, and planning was organised primarily by advertising executives Duncan Read and Marc Ritchie, and the program remains the only case of local content generated by advance advertising sales.

GA from 2007. This article is really poorly cited with numerous paragraphs that just have no citations. Bambots reports "Dead external links ((dead link)) (January 2016), Unsourced passages need footnotes ((citation needed)) (March 2016, July 2016, July 2021), ... (July 2021)" Onegreatjoke (talk) 18:19, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
