I've uploaded a photo of a check My Vaccine Pass in case it's of interest. I've made a category on Commons that is linked to this article. Schwede66 08:42, 2 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is not advisable to upload your vaccination certificate to the public internet. It can be used for identity or vaccine evasion fraud. Anyone could download this and put it on their phone to gain access to venues restricted to vaccinated people. It would be possible to edit it to show someone else's name, in which case it would not pass a verification check (I assume) but many businesses only do a sighting check. I don't know if there are similar problems with Schwede66's upload; I'm not aware of any exploits of a vaccination check screenshot.-gadfium 07:48, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi gadfium, you're right. Will edit it to remove my name. Will then upload a modified version.Andykatib 07:55, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You need to get the original deleted from commons, and not display the (whole) QR code portion, as Schwede66 did.-gadfium 08:03, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Have uploaded a new version but not sure how to get the old version deleted. How do I obscure the QR code portion? Do I remove it entirely or just shade part of it out? Feel free to make edits to the photo. Andykatib 08:12, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
According to commons:Commons:Deletion_requests/File:IPhone_showing_My_Vaccine_Pass.png, this sort of content is not allowed for licensing reasons at all, even if you could obscure certain key personal details. DMacks (talk) 08:21, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi DMacks, no worries. I am relieve it's been deleted since I don't want to be in breach of copyright laws or open the risk of identity theft. At least now I know the limits of what can be uploaded and what cannot. Andykatib 08:24, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I've just uploaded and added a paper Vaccine Pass that I had. I just wish that I didn't throw it away so I could get a better picture. I've also added Schwede66's image of the phone app. —Panamitsu (talk) 09:57, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is there EU equivalence since December 2021?
