The museum in itself may be relevant, but the article reads like a badly written publicity (The calligraphy Museum appeared to be a real pearl among the other Moscow museums; The museum is home to unique calligraphy samples including world-renown masterpieces; Studying these art creations a man reveals the history and continuous development of world writing systems; The museum exposition will excite both children and adults and make a fine addition to school and university curriculum). --RCS (talk) 08:49, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If it is badly written I can try to improve the language. Or anyone could help me with this. Concerning publicity: for example, the Natural History Museum in its article in Wiki puts it like: "The museum is home to life and earth science specimens comprising some 70 million items within five main collections: Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy, Palaeontology and Zoology. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research, specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation. Given the age of the institution, many of the collections have great historical as well as scientific value, such as specimens collected by Darwin. The Natural History Museum Library contains extensive book, journal, manuscript, and artwork collections linked to the work and research of the scientific departments. Access to the library is by appointment only".

If the language is pure I would appreciate it very much if Wiki participants would help me. Olaff-Vik (talk) 08:56, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would be thankful to everyone who knows English perfectly and who might help me making the text good. Olaff-Vik (talk) 12:41, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've made some corrections in the text. Please, suggest if some more corrections are needed or not. Or is the article ok now? Olaff-Vik (talk) 08:31, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say it is better but i still have doubts about the neutrality of the article - i must say that i am not familiar with the subject. Before i or somebody else removes the Npov tag, maybe you should ask somebody from the Portal:visual arts to check the content. --RCS (talk) 09:07, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Further Reading

[edit]

Why are these reference here? They just look like general calligraphy books mainly. I would try to add notable news sources about the relevance of this museum. --Clubmarx (talk) 16:32, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, why not?:)Olaff-Vik (talk) 09:27, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please, check for the new section. Is the article ok now? Olaff-Vik (talk) 14:47, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
