Commercial Advertisements - Vandalism

[edit]

Look at the lines inserted by ip address at the end of Mulund page. Please refrain from inserting advertisements as per deletion policy --Ninad 08:33, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Advertisements and Vandalism in the Landmarks section. Who's heard of Banjara Hills Co-op Soc and Shiv Shrishti complex as landmarks?Plus phone numbers of medical centres qualify as ads? Deleted them to be on the safe side. And ads on the talk page too!

Please don't advertise your meetings to oppose whatever on Wikipedia.Qualifies as spam.Reverted. EaswarH (talk) 02:07, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed advertising for an orkut community and a JD Institute of Fashion Technology. This,AFAIK,is not a recognised institution and has no place in educational institutions in Mulund.Or,it has only enough justification as the huge number of coaching classes have as claim to being educational institutions.

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Mulund/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I recategorized the article as start class from "B class" article. This is because articles cites no source and tone of the article is like newspaper rather than encyclopedic article. Article have following scope of improvements.
  1. Map for Mulund region
  2. Statistical information on demography
  3. Citations from authoritative sources
I also categorize the article from mid importance to low importance. Please note that importance is not for the subject of article but for the article as a part Wikipedia. Usually all small cities, regions and schools are classified as low importance article. pruthvi (talk) 05:03, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
