[edit]

Multiracial people have existed in Korea for thousands of years; it didn't just start in the Joseon people, and certainly not at late as Hamel. Think of Goryeo under Mongol rule, the marriages between Indian and Chinese and Korean royalty. Also think of the minority ethnic groups that were absorbed into the "Korean" race; the nomadic steppe people for instance. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 14:28, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. Think you're very likely right, but I do not know enough to really fix the text. (I did make a couple of changes, but they're quite superficial, and maybe not quite on-point.) I'm just wondering whether you would consider trying some edits on this point, yourself? Especially if you have access to sources? AukusRuckus (talk) 13:43, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
