Bit of trivia: There was a BBC Northern Ireland documentary about C. S. Lewis last night. Apparently, Narnia was (physically) inspired by the Mourne Mountains, which Lewis would have known as a child. Probably doesn't belong in the article, but I thought I'd record it here.--Malcohol 11:10, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was just going to say: is there not a reason that Narnia isn't mentioned here for that purpose? Check C.S. Lewis, it has more information regarding the subject. BlackPearl14[talkies!contribs!] 00:39, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Height of slieve donard

[edit]

Is the height of slieve donard not 2,796 feet? - Source is from http://www.irishscientist.ie/2004/contents.asp?contentxml=04isp45b.xml&contentxsl=is04pages.xsl.

Yes. It is often rounded to 850 m but I've fixed it anyway. NicM 09:29, 17 May 2006 (UTC).[reply]
Oops. It is 850 m, as that article even says. NicM 15:32, 21 May 2006 (UTC).[reply]
