Alcácer-Ceguer vs. Alcácer-Quibir

[edit]

This article was confounding Alcácer-Ceguer (Ksar es-Seghir) with Alcácer-Quibir (Ksar el Kebir). The former was a Portuguese possession, the latter was a battlefield and was never a Portuguese possession. The map still has taht mistake but I can't edit it right now. Alcácer-Ceguer is just west of Ceuta if anyone cares to edit it. Miguelrj (talk) 08:47, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's not the only thing wrong. Graciosa and Sao Joao da Mamora were never Portuguese possessions either. There definitely needs to be a better map. Ksar es-Seghir definitely needs to be added. But it might also be worth leaving some note on the three (Alcacer-Quibir, Graciosa, Sao Joao da Marmora), but colored differently, as the Portguese made high-profile attempts (but failed) to capture them.Walrasiad (talk) 09:01, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
