Lead
[edit]- Andress' first single → Andress' first song (because this is quite confusing for the casual reader, it is even a bit confusing for me)
- It won an award for Most-Performed Songs of the Year at the 2020 BMI Country Awards. → remove and add the nominations from the CMA and Grammys. (lots of songs get that award)
- The nominations were already included in the lead, unless you want me to specify the categories too? Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Yes that's what I meant, sorry MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:13, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Fixed. Sebbirrrr (talk) 17:45, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- performed it on various occasions → when? 2019, 2020, 2021...
- I was unsure what you meant by this, but I added the years after the performances. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- That's it! MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:13, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

Background and release
[edit]- with whom she also collaborated on her debut single → no indication of what song it was, I know it was "Lady Like", but debut and first can be diferent
- Replaced debut single with "Lady Like". Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- In an interview → In another interview
- "In January 2020, the song was confirmed to be the lead single off her debut album." → Wasn't "Lady Like"? This is contrary to the last paragraph and the article I reviewd. Secondly, the source, says "the debut single from Ingrid Andress"...
- Per the sources in "Lady Like", that was her debut single. "More Hearts Than Mine", on the other hand, was her 2nd single and was confirmed to be the lead single off the album while no sources mentioned "Lady Like" being part of the album initially. I believe the reason why most publications refer to "More Hearts Than Mine" as her debut single is because it was her first song that was sent to radio, but I couldn't include this because it would be WP:SYNTH. The way the label handled her singles is so confusing... Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Indeed quite messy, but let's take a step back. We have sources claiming that "Lady Like" was the first single and others claiming it was "More Hearts Than Mine", correct? However, we know that Andress told Billboard that Lady Like was her first single. But Billboard also claims that "More Hearts Than Mine", was her debut single on country radio. This is different, "Lady Like" was indeed her debut single, but "More Hearts Than Mine" was her first to be promoted to the radio. The problem is this sentence "In January 2020, the song was confirmed to be the lead single off her debut album" but on the "Lady Like" article we also have a source claiming "Lady Like" is the debut single. Let's leave this for latter. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:28, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- What I wanted to say is that More Hearts Than Mine was confirmed to be the first single off the album. (also sorry for not replying to this below, I didn't notice you added something else) Sebbirrrr (talk) 17:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- AH ok, while the other was her debut single, is that it? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:38, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

- Yep, I replaced "lead" with "first" to avoid confusion. Sebbirrrr (talk) 18:47, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- That does help a lot. Lets see if there is no confusion to the casual reader. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 19:29, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Moreover, her version of the track → Another version of the track,

Composition and lyrics
[edit]- Retitle to Composition only
- Most of the first paragraph sounds more like it would be a good fit for the section above. → move it and merge the first sentence with the second paragraph.
- Hope I did this correctly. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

Reception and commercial performance
[edit]- American singer Cole Swindell described himself as a fan of "More Hearts Than Mine" → remove, it is not critical reception
- on July 8, 2021 → unnecessary
- and as of March 2020, the song sold 105,000 pure copies in the United States. → see below
- won the Most-Performed Songs of the Year award → won Most-Performed Songs of the Year

Promotion
[edit]- Today → Today show
- Grand Ole Opry → is this like the Today show, could use a little explaining.
- It's a concert while Today is a tv show. I detailed a bit what Today is instead. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- DO the same for the Grand Ole Opry MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:05, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Fixed. Sebbirrrr (talk) 17:45, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- The singer performed "More Hearts Than Mine" on March 19, 2020 → On March 19, 2020, the singer performed "More Hearts Than Mine"

Weekly charts
[edit]- Weekly chart → Chart
- Wouldn't that get confusing since there are the year-end charts too? Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- That's just for the weekly chart, the others stay the same. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:01, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

References
[edit]- I had some doubts about "The Boot" but the writer has written for various other reliable publications.
- I have serious doubts regarding the Roughstock source. How do they get these numbers? Is it from a reliable source? Matt Bjorke seems to write every article on the website and has never written for any other reliable publication.
- I saw it being used in several articles for country songs but you made a good point. They don't say who calculated the sales and the same company that owns Roughstock also owns HipHopDX, but even the company's site doesn't give any information about how the sales are being calculated. Removed the Roughstock source entirely. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Belonging to the same company, doesn't mean anything. PopCrush and Taste of Country both belong to Townsquare Media with one being unreliable and the other reliable. Well done MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:01, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Source check:2, 4, 6, 8, 15, 24, 29, 45

Overall
[edit]- I can see improvement from your previous nominations to this one. Well done!
- Haha thanks! There was quite a lot to cover for this one. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Let me know once you have addressed these issues. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:12, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: thanks again! I've addressed everything and left comments where necessary. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:48, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Left you some comments. Please take a look. Jutst noticed you have the table with the awards and the text with it too, quite an overkill. Which one do you prefer to make it dessapear? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:06, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: I've fixed everything accordingly and, isn't the text compulsory per MOS:DTAB? I saw the table format on Say So's page, which is a GA, and I thought it had to look like this. Sebbirrrr (talk) 17:45, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- What I mean with the text is that you have the awards on a table and also in the body of the article written out. "Say So" just has the table. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:40, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: I removed the text and kept the table and I replied to your other comments. Sebbirrrr (talk) 18:47, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- I see, I just made some small changes in between your edits, see if you are ok with those. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 19:30, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
