Photo is not Mitch Bouyer
[edit]The photograph misidentified as Mitch Bouyer is actually Acapore, a Ute Musician. It was taken by Charles A. Nast at his Denver studio c.1895-1899 in a series of Ute and Jicarilla Apache portraits. The original glass photonegative is housed in the Denver Public Library Special Collections: Ute Indians, "Acapore" - call number X-31214 - image file ZZR710031214.
