Need birth name
[edit]Need his birth name. Badagnani (talk) 19:18, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Done. Badagnani (talk) 04:45, 27 February 2008 (UTC) does this article contradict itself? "As a result of his Confucian conservatism, Minh Mạng allowed little innovation in Vietnamese society, and in time its military in particular became antiquated." AND "Ming Mạng was keen in Western technologies, namely mechanics, weaponry and navigation which he attempted to introduce into Vietnam" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.58.132.20 (talk) 21:02, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Renaming of Vietnam to Dai Viet
[edit]His renaming of Vietnam to "Dai Viet" should be mentioned. Badagnani (talk) 04:33, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- He renamed Việt Nam to Đại Nam (Great South) not Đại Việt (Great Viet).--Amore Mio (talk) 13:42, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Free sex practices
[edit]What exactly is meant by the practice of free sex by European Catholics? It is difficult to imagine Catholic priests openly advocating 'free sex' in the sense the term is usually used. Can someone clarify? 68.48.206.242 (talk) 00:57, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

- Han nhan and trung quoc as this is about Viet-Nam, Mandarin is only valid when it concerns Northern-Chinese things.
