1.) I believe that the name of the township is/was "Mill Creek Township", not "Millcreek Township". 2.) The creek after which it is named is "Mill Creek", not "Millcreek". 3.) Genealogical records point to both "Mill Creek Township" and "Millcreek Township".

I have no objection to merging the two entries, but: 1.) I think that they should be merged into "Mill Creek Township, Hamilton County, Ohio"; 2.) for genealogical purposes, I think that an entry should remail for "Millcreek Township, Hamilton County, Ohio", and that this entry should merely be a "see entry for Mill Creek Township, Hamilton COunty, Ohio"

Newspaper articles and legal notices mostly refer to the township as "Millcreek Township" and only occasionally as "Mill Creek Township". For example, Newspapers.com turns up 5,000 occurrences of "Millcreek Township" from 1841 to present, but only 722 of "Mill Creek Township" over the same time period among Cincinnati-area newspapers in English and German. Even though the township is named after Mill Creek, it isn't uncommon for the space to be elided in a derivative name. – Minh Nguyễn 💬 09:24, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
