Mike Graham mentioning Wikipedia

[edit]

Mike actually mentioned Wikipedia on his June 27th 2009 Show. He said; 'I am warning people, if you go onto my Wikipedia Web Page I can find out who you are from your I.P. address If you write rubbish about me on Wikipedia I will have it removed and I can find out who you are'. — Johnwrd (talk) 04:18, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was an empty threat, but maybe it did some good in keeping the trolls away. — 47.7.63.227 (talk) 14:57, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The concrete incident

[edit]

It seems a lot of IP editors were motivated by a recent viral segment Graham did to edit this article. While there's quite a lot of tabloid coverage (Metro.co.uk and Express.co.uk), I don't see the type of coverage that would suggest it should be added to the article. What does 'the type of coverage' mean. Who put you in charge? 92.58.203.169 (talk) 12:25, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Journalist"

[edit]

I'm American and know zilch about this guy, but came across him while spelunking through the page for TalkTV. I also have no opinion about what makes a news-oriented television program host a journalist vs. just a broadcaster. I'm sure there's a not-at-all ideologically driven consensus on this encyclopedia already. But can someone who does know either remove the "" from "journalist" (in the lede) or simply remove the word "journalist" altogether? Seems like a ridiculous dig for a Wikipedia article.
