An article made allegations against Cohl . Apparently a later retraction or apology was issued. Neither appear to be online. Rich Farmbrough, 13:46 20 August 2007 (GMT).

I softened that section, which previously seemed to accept that the report was true. I wonder whether the section ought to be omitted completely for now, if there is real concern about whether or not a retraction was issued later. We are hampered to some extent by the source not being online, so removal seems like a wise choice to me unless someone is willing to get to the library to improving the sourcing here. I will leave it in for today to give people a chance to weigh in, since this appears to have been in the article for quite some time.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 13:20, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There having been no objections here, I will proceed to be bold and remove the allegation entirely. That is, assuming that my Internet connection, which is super-sketch tonight, holds up long enough for me to complete that task. Otherwise, I hope someone else will do it, or I will do it tomorrow.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 23:21, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The article making the accusation is referenced, and is accessible behind the newspaper's paywall. I had no problem pulling a free abstract of this article on this date (09 June 2010). A review of the newspaper's archives makes no reference to a retraction or apology. Please cite reference to any retraction or apology in this Talk section before deleting this clearly referenced paragraph. Thanks!--S Thompson (talk) 09 Jun 2010
