WP Mil Hist notability
[edit]What is the connection to military history? The museum isn't covered much. Trilotat (talk) 20:53, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Trilotat: Bernstein has a 65k SF warehouse full of vintage American, Russian, Japanese, German, fully functional military weapons and memorabilia from WWI to Vietnam. The articles that cover his museum don't go into as much detail as some of the online videos when he gives a walking tour. The articles that cover Bernstein only touch on some of his vintage weapons, vehicles, memorabilia.. Unfortunately I can only add to the WP page the details of what he has in the museum, from what I find from different reliable articles. This will be a work in progress. - Walking tour, may incorporate into WP page [1]Cllgbksr (talk) 04:45, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Walking tour link added to External links Cllgbksr (talk) 05:00, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- What is the name of the museum? Trilotat (talk) 23:07, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Links to Commons and WikiQuotes
[edit]Link to WikiMedia Commons returns a null result. WikiQuotes refers to a Mel Bernstein in ScarFace and other persons not this Mel Bernstein. Recommend removing the links. Trilotat (talk) 05:07, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Trilotat: Yeah, saw that. Went ahead and removed them. Cllgbksr (talk) 05:11, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
Columbine
[edit]Just found a New York Post article from 1999 [2], that one of the Columbine shooters, Eric Harris, had tried to buy an "M-60 machine gun and a silencer-equipped assault pistol", from Bernstein's gun store. Doesn't seem to fit in the article but it does have some historical significance. If anyone has any thoughts I'd like to hear it. Whether it goes in or not. Cllgbksr (talk) 06:10, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
