GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

This article is in decent shape, but it needs more work before it becomes a Good Article.

  1. Is it well written?
    A. The prose is clear and concise, and the spelling and grammar are correct:
Some of the phrasing in the "Character history" section is a bit confusing with the use of "althoughs". I'd also look into How to write plot summaries:Characters, Locations, etc. to make it a bit more understandable for people not as familiar with the Godzilla films. The "Abilities" section
    B. It complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation:
  2. Is it verifiable with no original research, as shown by a source spot-check?
    A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:
    B. Reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose):
Toho Kingdom appears to be a fan site which would not be a reliable source. I have faith that a more reliable source could give this information. Are there official toho sites/books or godzilla sites/books with this information?
    C. It contains no original research:
"Similar to nearly every monster in the Godzilla series, Megaguirus was at one point exposed to radioactive materials, resulting in a substantial increase in strength, speed and size." This needs a citation, namely the "nearly every monster in the Godzilla series" part.
    D. It contains no copyright violations nor plagiarism:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. It addresses the main aspects of the topic:
Could any information about the development of the character be added? or a reception section?
    B. It stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style):
  4. Is it neutral?
It represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each:
  5. Is it stable?
It does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute:
  6. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
Could we have an image that shows more of the character? In the character's story sections it alludes to parts of the body on the monster that we can not see from that picture.
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
Before I go into the review further, the cites referring to the Toho Kingdom will have to change as fan sites are not considered reliable sources. If suitable ones can be found, than we can have them placed there instead. Good luck with improving the article! Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:56, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'm afraid there was not any changes in the article since this review and I the TohoKingdom site seems to be fan-based which is not reliable. This article will need more reviews and information about the monster from a critical position as well. Take a look at articles on other fictional characters like Pyramid Head for an idea of what we're looking for and I'll be happy to take a look at this again. :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:50, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
