Mars Town

[edit]

Could it also mean "Mars Town"? "Tin" can also mean "town" or "settlement". AmericanLeMans (talk) 04:35, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can Joseph Daniel Martin known as Joe Martin be added? He died in the line of duty protecting the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge in Waycross, GA also known as The Okefenokee Swamp. He was my grandfather. My Daddy's Father. He died June 2, 1945 along with his partner Andrew "Bryant" Crews. They were investigating a burn on protected land and were ambushed and shot in their backs by Oliver Thrift. Both were found dead after my Granny Martin sent search party to look for them when he didn't come home. This made my Daddy the oldest son become The Man if the House at age 14. The Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge is still protected today!! 2600:1005:B21A:DD9E:0:32:AB1F:1301 (talk) 20:49, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
