What about Edith Stein? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.178.29.85 (talk) 21:04, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edith Stein and her sister Rosa weren't "formally condemmned", that seems to be the difference made here.--Medusahead (talk) 09:29, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I hope this edit works, I am not that versed in this editor. Okay. I just overflew the article and I am merely an ancestor, who wasn't that interested in the whole thing about her, so I really don't know much, but even I could spot a few grave mistakes in the English sources - like I never heard or could find it in a quick search in German sources that she was ever called anything but Helene Kafka as her birth name, certainly not Elena and she didn't get framed for writing a poem, but been overheard dictating one that circulated at that time called the "Soldatenlied". I think it be best if this article be written by someone who can read the available German sources — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sephtan (talkcontribs) 01:10, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

name of order of nuns in German?

[edit]

Why is the name of the order of nuns given in German (and not, say, in Moravian)? I'm sure there's a good reason, but it should be stated. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 01:55, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is a congregation of sisters, id est a third order, which has its origins in Vienna. They are even called in the vernacular with the German name "Hartmannschwestern".--Medusahead (talk) 09:37, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
