Notability

[edit]

Here are a couple of articles that might be helpful, not referenced currently:

Some biographical info in both as well as information about her work. Not trivial mentions either, they are full articles about her. -- Atama 00:17, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

would welcome help developing this page. thanks dan Goldendawngallery (talk) 01:11, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
the copyright violation claim is completely unfounded. The subject - Margarete Bagshaw - owns all copyright to any info, images or text on the page referenced. please remove your allegation of "might" on the alledged copyright infringement. thanks dan Goldendawngallery (talk) 16:06, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's not an inappropriate tag; there is a procedure for having copyrighted material accepted, beyond an editor's say-so. More to the point, it's usually not acceptable to cut and paste content from a primary source, per WP:PRIMARY; otherwise, it's too easy for non-neutral and promotional content to be used. Two things seem certain: the subject is notable, and there is a real conflict of interest here, as in your other edits [1]. The suggestion is that the copied text be removed, and be replaced by content that comes from an objective source. 99.156.68.203 (talk) 23:21, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm in agreement here. This article also seems like an advertisement for an art gallery and such self-promotion is against Wiki policy. The article reads like an autobiography and its lack of objectivity does not conform to Wiki standards. It is nothing more than self promotion and needs to be rewritten by an objective observer. Spanning three generations is not a "dynasty". Wasn't this article nominated for deletion? Amerindianarts (talk) 21:50, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

COI edits and bouncing IPs

[edit]

This article has had a history of COI edits and copyright issues, specifically from "Dan" at Goldendawngallery, who happens to have the same name as her ex-husband and her co-owned gallery. There has also been history of vandalism and edits without citations done by bouncing IPs. If this persists we need to add protections on this article. Jooojay (talk) 23:32, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
