"Radiohead", "Shindig", "On a Friday", what?

[edit]

Was this demo tape even released under the name Radiohead? The article simply refers to it as a Radiohead release, but it's unclear from the cover art what the band's name was, and I've read articles which make it seem as if the band only changed their name to Radiohead during the time they were negotiating their deal with Parlophone, which one would assume was after this self-released demo, probably later toward the very end of 1991, from what I've read. Their first release on Parlophone, the Drill EP which came out in spring of 1992, I'd always heard was the first time they had used the name "Radiohead" on a release. The band were known primarily as On a Friday in their early years, with brief periods of being known as "Shindig" and other names. So if this subject is notable enough for an article, it would be important to note in this article the band's name at the time this, their final demo, came out, since this demo has certainly never been re-released since. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.21.58.96 (talk) 02:15, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is certainly from On A Friday, as can be seen from the reverse cover art. --81.102.234.88 (talk) 23:39, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
