Please do not merge this page with the Mangalarga breed one. Mangalarga and Mangalarga-Marchador are two different horse breeds. Despite the two breeds came from the same origins, they have been totally separated within two studbooks. The breeders associations have different objectives, and their rules are also different. Merging these two breed is an error. (unsigned 14 June 2007 by User:Pbicalho)

Translation?

[edit]

It looks like the 'Breed characteristics' section was translated from somewhere, with lines like 'it sets sail and quite definite'. Is there a source for it? geeoharee (talk) 14:24, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is one of (many) breed articles that need quite a bit of work. It is quite POV, and you are correct that the characteristics section reads poorly. Sources can quite likely be found for most of the information, either from the breed registry or in general breed encyclopedias. If you are interested in the topic, I urge you to be bold and work on it; if not, I promise that it's on the equine project's list of things to do :) Dana boomer (talk) 15:46, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
