Company status
[edit]The holding company of Manchester City F.C., Manchester City plc, is a private limited company. - by definition if it's a plc then it can't be a private limited company, since it means "public limited company". If it was taken off the stock market, e.g. when Thaksin bought in, then it'll just be a Ltd, not a plc. A search on the Companies House website shows "Manchester City Limited", company number 2989498, incorporated 8/11/1994, registered office City of Manchester Stadium, Sportcity, Manchester M11 3FF. Name change from previous name "Manchester City plc" on 12/9/2007. I'll change the article to match. -- Arwel (talk) 19:39, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
