[edit]Note: this page states that the disease Chikungunya is translated as "that which bends up", whereas the translation on the Chikungunya page itself is translated as bends downward. Can we get someone in the know to take a look at this and fix the discrepancy? Thank you. Roger -Dot- Lee, Aviation Geek, proud grammar nazi (talk) 03:58, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
The source cited in the line "The derivation of the term is generally falsely attributed to Swahili.[7]," found at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2870928/ , does not support the line. No mention of Swahili is made in that paper.--Vapor314 (talk) 15:06, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
Splitting Matambwe language?
[edit]The article says "The Matambwe (Matembwe) and Mabiha (Maviha) dialects are divergent, and may not be Makonde.", and now, Matambwe granted its own code wtb for 1.5 years, I wonder if there are reasons not to consider a separation of article? Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 03:44, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
