GA Review

[edit]

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
An engaging read; the only exception is the steroids section, but I'll address that in 3b.
    B. MoS compliance:
The See also section is excessive. According to WP:LAYOUT, it is supposed to be a short list of related articles. As well, you should not repeat the name of the article in section headings.
Headings are OK; the list is still excessive. Can you incorporate those vital links in the article itself? 12:11, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
    Good. 17:26, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
The steroids section is too big compared to the other section. While steroids are a very important issue in baseball right now, it does not merit 15 paragraphs, of which some are pretty choppy. I suggest halving the section at the very minimum.
Much better now. 12:11, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
