PT Chicago - Rochester or Booster draft?

[edit]

Kai Budde thinks that 1998 PT Chicago was booster draft, which caused two editors to disagree recently. The cited source, https://web.archive.org/web/19990220064811/http://www.wizards.com/Sideboard/PTChi98/Final_Results.html and http://web.archive.org/web/19990220142902/www.wizards.com/Sideboard/PTChi98/QDecks.html, do not say if it was Rochester draft or Booster draft. They do establish it was Tempest block at least from the card pool. One of Mark Rosewater's articles, [1], says that it was Urza's Saga booster draft. This can't be completely right, because of the card pool, and because Urza's Saga didn't release until the next month (Sep. for this PT, Oct. for Urza's Saga). But, it does indicate booster not Rochester draft. Sooo...what draft format was it? -- stillnotelf is invisible 16:55, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kai dug up http://web.archive.org/web/19990220034641/http://www.wizards.com/Sideboard/PTChi98/Draft_Overview.html, definitely booster, fixed. -- stillnotelf is invisible 17:41, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
