Podcasters section

[edit]

I'm not convinced that a list of every podcaster associated with Luminary is a good idea. When looking at other articles about podcast networks such as Earwolf, Maximum Fun, WNYC Studios, or Wondery there are few to none that include lists of podcasters. That's not to say that lists couldn't be added to these articles, but that the prevalent format does not include lists like this. Granted, articles about podcast networks are pretty messy and might not be a great measure of how to write a Wikipedia page. Either way, two sources per entry on the list of podcasters is overkill and the page overall is a clear instance of WP:REFBOMB. I'll be making some changes to the article when I find time, but I thought I'd mention my thoughts on the newly published draft before making extensive changes to the article. I recently opened a discussion at the WikiProject (here) about formatting for podcast networks. I also went ahead and removed the short and arbitrary list of podcasters associated with the network and added a comprehensive list of Luminary Original productions that includes all of the podcasters' names and wikilinks to their pages where applicable. If anyone has objections feel free to discuss here on the talk page. TipsyElephant (talk) 13:57, 25 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Luminary Originals

[edit]

I was unclear about four podcasts in the table and whether or not they were still or ever were part of the Luminary Network. I was able to find People's Party and British Villains on Luminary's website, but they weren't included in the complete list of Luminary Originals. Are they on the network but not considered an "Original"? Did Luminary just forget to include them on the list? Similarly, I was completely unable to find The Passion Economy and I Am Rapaport on the Luminary website, but I can find news stories suggesting that they are part of the network.
