[edit]This family has perished, AND RIGHTFULLY SO!!!!
How could she be the daughter of Nathan Hale when he was hung in 1776 on Long Island, and her birthdate is in 1820. I mean is that wacky or what? Were Nathan Hale's loins preserved by The Peterkin's during a Secret Council in the back parlor???
- BIG DAN PETERKIN
But seriously, if anyone can enlighten me about Nathan Hale's actual lineage (and his post-mortem virility), PLEASE POST MORE INFO, thank you!
- I am confused by your comment. The article states that Lucretia Peabody Hale's father was the nephew and namesake of the Revolutionary War patriotic Nathan Hale. If you click on the link to the Nathan Hale listed as her father it will take you to an article about the journalist who was related to the more famous Hale.
