Congo-Kinshasa dossier
[edit]- It is also under Michel's reign that Belgium has recognized all the crimes committed during the Belgian colonial period, mainly King Leopold II's crimes. The president Joseph Kabila has even thank Leopold II during his visit in Brusels in 2003 when, exceptional fact, the two chambers have been gathered to meet him. Louis Michel's son, Charles Michel, has led the société minière (MIBA) in Congo. Louis-Michel is closely linked to the Georges Forest industrial group active in the reach Katanga province.‹The template Talkfact is being considered for merging.› [citation needed]
I removed the paragraph since Belgium hasn't recognized all of its crimes, Kabila only gave hommage to pioneer who believed in Leopold's dream and their is only but accusations that Charles Michel has been the boss of MIBA. Please provide proper sources if you think they are facts. --moyogo 13:55, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
I think The Congo-Kinshasa dossier section needs a lot of work. I just changed it to improve the grammer and I hope I have not altered the content. I will try to find some sources and alter the section more significantly. I am impressed that it seems to be mostly NPOV.

Subsequently I have altered a paragraph added to the bottom of the article about a recent lecture Lichel gave. I feel my version is less POV, if you disagree I am open to suggestions. The paragraph will probably go in time as it falls into WP:Recentism and is not that relevent really. —Preceding unsigned comment added by CaptinJohn (talk • contribs) 10:52, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Cleanup tag
[edit]I'm removing the cleanup tag, which has been there since November 2007. Like most articles, this has seen substantial changes since then, and certainly looks better. I'm sure that, again like most articles, this one could use some improvement, but without a reason for cleanup specified, I don't think the tag is much use, other than to advertise that we leave articles about important people neglected for so many years (when that isn't even the case!) If you replace the cleanup tag, please add a reason parameter for editors who may come across it in the future. Cheers! Jdcooper (talk) 12:19, 23 January 2017 (UTC)
