Death penalty
[edit]The current article reads arther oddly - he proposed the abolition of the death penalty and also the introduction of beheading instead of hanging. If true, this apparaent contradiction surely needs some coment?
- Despite the fact that almost every article I have found through all of FIU's resources practically mention only this fact, it is not on the Wikipedia page. Also, something I thought would be important to add is also how he was a freemason. Freemasons apparently had a decently significant role in the revolution so knowing that Le Peletier is one could be helpful to others reading the page. Lastly, there should be more information on the ways that Le Peletier affected education. He wrote papers and proposals that are not spoken of at all. He is known almost only for his fight for educational reform and there is only one not cited sentence about it on his page.Lepeletier (talk) 03:07, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
