I realize that it's often *very* difficult to find sources for claims made about secondary schools wrt awards, etc., it would be nice to see some citations here. Any thoughts on how to obtain some? --PoprocksCk 03:33, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
To clear the air on Neve Campbell
[edit]To clarify, Neve Campbell never attended Lorne Park S.S.
Her father has been a drama teacher there for a long time, but she was never a student there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.238.230.98 (talk) 20:30, 6 February 2007 (UTC).
- Mr. Campbell retired several years ago, actually...I want to say 2004, but I might be wrong. He was definitely still there in 2003, but has also been gone for a while, certainly since before this message was posted! Neve Campbell was not educated there, but she has definitely been spotted on the property—I myself got to meet her when she adjudicated a SearsFest in 2002 or 2003! Is this school public or private? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.139.19.128 (talk) 03:26, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- public --Pwnage8 (talk) 15:40, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've just added this bit to the page. Skittleys (talk) 17:27, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
LPSS Athletics "Most Notable" Teams
[edit]No one can deny that football deserves that title, but women's lacrosse? It's been 5 years since I graduated, but lacrosse was never a hugely popular sport, certainly nowhere near as popular as football. Can someone provide a reliable reference(s) that shows LP's better known for lacrosse than, say, rugby or women's hockey? Doing very well for a couple of years does not make a team "notable"... New VP
[edit]I've updated the article to show the new vice principal, Dan Bowyer, who is replacing Mr. Kidd. You can find the reference here RA0808 (talk) 23:20, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
